How this site makes money
Short version: affiliate links. Longer version below, including what they don't change.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your total.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Every guide containing affiliate links says so at the top of the page, before you read any recommendation.
What that doesn't change
- No brand pays to appear here. There are no sponsored placements, paid reviews, or paid rankings on this site. If that ever changes, it will be labelled on the page it affects.
- No brand sees a guide before it publishes.
- Limitations get stated. The label printer guide leads with a compatibility problem that costs us clicks, because it's the thing most likely to make someone regret the purchase.
- "Buy nothing" is a valid answer, and several guides here reach it.
Prices
Any price quoted on this site carries the date it was checked. Prices move constantly, deal badges are measured against list prices that may not reflect what an item normally sells for, and a figure without a date can't be verified. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's page before buying.
What this site is not
Nothing here is medical advice. A desk that fits you is more comfortable to work at — that is the entire claim being made. Questions about pain, injury, or long-term physical effects belong with a qualified professional.
Nothing here is tax or financial advice. Where a guide mentions keeping receipts, that's a filing habit, not guidance on what's deductible. That depends on your circumstances and is a question for an accountant.
